Gaia Hunted audiobook release and other fun happenings

Six months after the debut novel arrived, Gaia Hunted found a new voice—and a new way to reach readers.

It had been six months since the publication of Gaia Hunted, and the experience was a dream come true. My deepest thanks went to everyone who read the novel and shared such generous support.

It was a joy to meet readers at conferences and book fairs, appear on television and YouTube, and speak on a Providence Book Festival panel alongside Joanna Schaffhausen and Tonya D. Price, moderated by Maureen Walsh.

The biggest news was the release of the Gaia Hunted audiobook. With the help of the talented voice actor Emily Frongillo, we brought the characters in Mattie's world to life. Listening to the novel is an entirely different experience, and I remain proud of what we created.

I was also preparing to speak at the Salem Literary Festival and the New England Crime Bake writers' conference. Meeting readers and fellow writers was—and remains—one of the best parts of publishing.
