Pele's Paradise

I arrived on Hawaii's Big Island without knowing a single person or any useful piece of information about the place.

Starting in Hilo, a city frozen in time, I traveled the open road where impressions were made in seconds. I either hitched a ride, or I waited.

I found a Garden of Eden nestled among dried lava flows, met strangers who became friends, and ventured to the volcano where the world begins and ends. The island is small, but abundant with characters and adventures.
